A recent PhD thesis caught my attention: Embedding subliminal messages into printed text, by Avegaard Goodred.

The premise is that, by arranging words in a particular way, juxtaposing certain words, carefully choosing words for their effect, one can embed messages in a text such that the conscious mind is not aware of them, but the unconscious mind is. The result is that the reader will end up with a particular belief.

I have thoroughly studied the quite complex treatise and carefully constructed this short piece, employing the formulae developed by Goodred. The result? When you have finished reading this, you will believe it to be a hoax.
