Leyla, you are like a breath of fresh air after a a prolonged period of enervating hot, humid weather has been threatening to drain us of all will to change. Your contribution to the discussion last night (7 May 2018) on Q&A showed what a clear thinker and powerful communicator you are. Your comment about the need to apply design to government-public interfaces was probably the most valuable idea of the night. Unfortunately, the critical role of design in all aspects of our lives (and the lack of it in too many places) is poorly understood and too often dismissed — after all, what would a designer know about anything other than pretty clothes? I’m looking forward to hearing and reading more of what you have to contribute to our future.
